I’m by no means the country type, even though the majority of my family live on farms…somewhere in New Zealand (I’m quite sure where even!), so seeing these majestic horses everywhere throughout the Hawkes Bay is something else. Despite their size they are gentle, intelligent creatures that I have become obsessed with capturing. Yes, I’m the girl you will see, pulled over to the side of the road in my little Toyota Vitz taking a million photographs. As they say, do it for the gram!
